Like almost all my friends and business associates, I've been spending too much time on Facebook lately. Here's a crazy factoid: Facebook says there are 155,267 members in Calgary. Considering the fact that there are about 1,000,000 people in Calgary, that's about 15% of our population. Can that be right? If so, Calgarians must be amongst the most connected social networkers in the world.
As a comparison, Facebook has about 24 million members. The world population is about 6.6 billion, according to the CIA Factbook. If my calculations are correct, that is just 0.36%.
